Sacred Line Tattoo

After a difficult journey with breast cancer, Tim allowed me to feel like it was time to be done. The lovely job he did made my body look normal and healthy again. It was a great experience!

Best tattoo experience I've had and he is such great person. Amazing artist that listens to what you are looking for and great suggestions! I will be going back for any tattoos I want in the future.

In May 2015, I was referred to Tim at Sacred Line Collective by my plastic surgeon following reconstructive surgery for my highly aggressive breast cancer. As I did not previously have any tattoos, I was nervous and reluctant to get one, but knew that I needed to finish this last phase of my reconstruction to move on. Tim was kind and welcoming to me and my girlfriends, however, that is unfortunately the only highlight of our interactions. The ink he used on my areola tattoos did not take. I advised him of this the week after the tattoos were placed, and he apologized and explained he was using new ink and it was happening to other women as well. He offered a second sitting to fix the first. Despite my frustrations and continued discomfort with the way my breasts looked, I agreed. Unfortunately, despite following the after care instructions, the ink flaked off within a week. Again. When I contacted Tim about my options, he was dismissive and rude. He refused to refund my money (which was not an insignificant amount), said it was a risk I took, and discourteously told me it was my own fault even though he said he used the same faulty ink, again. He made me feel belittled and further dragged out my healing process. The whole situation has been awful, but the way he handled it was even worse. I cannot believe my plastic surgeon recommended someone so unprofessional.

I first heard of Tim Cox at Sacred Line Tattoo from a friend that I met through an Omaha,NE BRCA gene mutation group. This friend had breast cancer and a double mastectomy. She had learned of Tim through a friend who also had her areolas tattooed by Tim. Both of these women were beyond happy with Tim, so much so that I did my research in the Omaha NE area and discovered that no one could do the 3D tattooing, or tattoo as well as Tim Cox can. He is experienced in areola tattoos and scars (including vets burn scars). I had my areola tattoos done last week and it was the most amazing experience. The facility was wonderful and calming, he was more than helpful, and his work is the best that I've seen. I'm very impressed with Tim, he's a kind sole that really loves what he does and how it changes women's (and vet's) lives. I am for every in debt to him...this helped my confidence & I cannot imagine the experience being any better! Thanks TIM!!!
