Mattress Mark's Sleep Shop

Just visited Mattress Marks after visiting a few other Mattress stores. Mark was very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained every detail for every mattress we tried, unlike the other stores. Very happy with our visit. Mattress manufacturers are backlogged due to COVID and he let us know up front before we even tried a mattress of what the expected delivery time frame was. We will be back for other mattresses in the future.

I got a mattress at mattress mark’s about a week ago and got great service, would recommend going there.

After reading google reviews and checking with the BBB, we decided to check this store out. The sales man, Greg, was very friendly and helpful so we decided to purchase from them. We were told our mattress would be in Tuesday (11/12). I called yesterday morning and left a message to see if it was there since they said they’d call when it came in. I then called back in the afternoon when I hadn’t received a call back. After no one answered that call, I sent my husband to the store to check on this. Our mattress was not there due to warehouse being closed for cold weather. When Greg called to find out when the mattress would be at the store, he was told maybe Thursday but definitely Friday. I had a problem with this since I felt it should be the next time the warehouse was opened. The guy on the other end of the phone (which I later found out was the owner) was nothing short of rude and hateful. In the end, it came in on Wednesday. However, the correct frame was not picked up with the mattress. So we now have to wait until next Wednesday for our frame. We went back into the store tonight to get our previously purchased mattress cover and Mark the owner was working. When I calmly started to express my unhappiness about this, he cut me off and interrupted me multiple times. He also started out informing me that I misunderstood the salesman, which then turned into calling me and my husband liars!! He had no apologies or remorse for the fact that we’ve had a bad experience or that next week I will have to figure out how to get the mattress on a new frame by myself since my husband is a disabled veteran. He also asked my husband this afternoon that we return “the loaner frame” in its box next week. Given our experience with the owner, I don’t feel like we will ever deal with that store again once this is done. At this point I’d rather deal with an old school used car salesmen than Mark. The only time he even attempted to apologize was when there was another customer in the store and I reminded him that all he’d done was call us liars and never took any responsibility for the situation or tried to apologize. Based off of the other unhappy reviews, I’m expecting him to have an excuse or again tell us it’s our fault once he sees this. And I will be more than happy to update if he decides to do something to make this situation right.n***Update: our frame was delivered Sunday and they helped with setup. I appreciate them getting it to us earlier than they’d said and helping with the exchange.
