We had Brisket with a baked potato... the meat was cooked to melt in your mouth. Their Cole Slaw was a treat, my other side was green beans, hubby had two servings af slaw. The Coconut Cream pie had mile high Meringue and my Chocolate pie was creamy.
We stopped there for breakfast this morning after an hour drive. We were so disappointed. We arrived around 8 a.m. The cafe was full, only one waitress. After asking about the long wait we were told the cafe had sold about 2-3 months ago and the cook had only been there 4 days. The ham was not a large, thick slice like we have had before and the hash browns were not done and it took over an hour to get our meal. We won't be making that drive again. Makes us sad. We always enjoyed eating there.
Great food, great prices, great service. The pie is amazing with sooo many choices. You won't be disappointed!!
The food was good, bright and clean inside and happy smiling wait staff. Always a great treat
Hair in food, small selection but great staff. So take your chances, but McDonald’s would’ve been better.
