We purchased a king size bed that matched our current bedroom suite from here in July. It had to be special ordered and because of COVID there were very long manufacturing delays. Even though it was out of Furniture Mall of Kansas’ control for the delays, our sales rep, Edgar was amazing to work with. He was attentive and always checked in to send me updates about our order and the expected delivery date. When the timing of delivery kept getting pushed, Edgar was able to give us a generous credit back on what we already paid and still continued to call us and text us with the current status. Anytime I texted him a question, he would respond very quickly, even on days he wasn’t actually working. I have to say I’m blown away by his customer service. We live in Colorado and planned to drive to the store in Kansas to pick up the bed once it came in - an almost 8 hour drive. When we needed a late night confirmation of delivery to the warehouse before we started driving early the next morning, I contacted Edgar after the store had closed. On his own initiative he willingly went back to the store within 30 minutes of my call, logged in to the system and even called his manager after hours so they could get us the confirmation info we needed. I’ve never had a sales associate be this attentive or go out of his way to work with us on this level before. My husband was able to leave early the next morning, pick up the bed with no issues and mentioned how friendly and thorough the warehouse representatives were with checking the inventory and helping him load everything in our truck. Now that we finally have our bed set up at home, we are very happy with it and are impressed with Furniture Mall of Kansas’ overall customer service. Edgar should win sales rep of the year if they have such a thing, it was a pleasure working with him and I wish him all the best!!

Less than one star. Currently sitting on hold with both the Credit Agency and the Furniture Mall of Kansas Topeka. The Credit agency changed our payments and now is charging us late fees. We paid ahead and were set on automatic payments.... The Furniture Mall transferred my first call to a TEXAS Store and now will not pick up my call.... I am utilizing two phones, been on hold for 30 minutes, this is not our idea of good service! Update:Order has been successfully cancelled... Update 2: TD Bank is calling my place of work repeatedly through out the day. Even after canceling order and repeated conversations.

The associates at the store were very insightful and willing to provide the assistance needed to rectify any issues or problems with our newly purchased furniture. It also appears that the store owners greatly value the level of service that is provided to customers. However, a portion of the delivery staff and maintenance department, along with at least one of the managers, fail to hold true to those same levels of commitment and dedication. Numerous mistakes were made upon the delivery. First off, two of the three sections of the couch were the wrong pieces. The correct pieces eventually showed up 5 hours later. Then a few sections of the new furniture were not properly assembled. I was able to quickly correct most of of these mistakes fairly quickly; no big deal. More technical issues were then discovered and a specific maintenance technician not only failed to notice the issues that were both demonstrated and explained to him, but also lied to us and then wrote an erroneous report that mentions how the new furniture merely needs to be “broken in. “ So, after I contacted customer service and failed to receive any further responses, I decided to take a hands on approach in order to alleviate the issues with my new furniture. I eventually found a set screw that was extremely loose in the reclining chase lounge and I also had to remedy a few issues involving the feet of the chase lounge. I’d think that issues such as these would have been things that a knowledgable maintenance tech would’ve been able to find and correct. So, it appears that there may need to be more training in certain departments that focus on instilling the ethics and moral principles that were only portrayed by the actual in-store associates that I interacted with during this whole ordeal. I would hate to see a couple bad seeds tarnish the reputation of an entire company and prevent customers from coming back in the future.

Deloris (interior design) and Arica (sales) went ABOVE and BEYOND for us! We will definitely be lifelong customers because of them! After working with Arica during the initial visit, she recommended Deloris because of our unique living room. Together they worked hard to find us what we wanted and what worked best for the space (pieces and prices). We are in love with our newly transformed space. We couldn't have done it without your employees at FMOK! Thank you

Bee was the sales person who waited on us and she was very patient and suggested things but not pushy at all. Knew her information on most things and asked her manager if she wasn’t sure.nAppreciated her friendliness.nThe customer service and friendly atmospherenSeems much better than a few years ago when we had purchased other furniture.nThanks for coffee and cookies! They were expensive but enjoyed them!!!ud83dude00
