I got the Chocolate Cupcake with cream filling. I’ve had much better cupcakes in previous visits but last couple times not so much. Cupcake tasted dry and day old ( definitely not freshly made and cream filling was almost not not there ; 1/8 tsp or less for filling.
Stopped by incidentally after studying at Starbucks next door and WOW. The strawberry cupcakes with strawberry buttercream were to die for. Luckily there are more Smallcakes in the KC area. Super delicious, perfect as a gift for yourself or others. Highly recommend.
Visited Fri evening I think. The service was very helpful and observant. Prices are appropriate.
I just learned that this place was even here. It's lovely inside with a beautiful display of their cupcakes. I had the wedding cake cupcake and it was delicious.
I feel like im walking into a very big walk-in closet where im going to be spending the next few hours. Ssh don't tell anybody. But yes i love love this place. Unique space, no nonesense atmosphere with great service and simply great small.. cakes. And with the pink box in the car i feel like im riding around with bag from Neiman Marcus.
