Midwest Drum is more than a neighborhood music store. It's a community ...a community of folks from every corner, coming together in love and support of the common bond music provides. I recall many days walking in this store without a specific need ...just for the fellowship. No pressure to purchase ...advice for days ...and not always about music related topics. Midwest Drum is family, a Wichita landmark, and a great place to buy some sweet gear! Matt and his staff will go above and beyond to provide you with a confident purchase experience.Matt eats, sleeps, and lives drums! You will never find a more knowledgeable and passionate owner of any business.

Midwest has a great selection of drums cymbals and percussion instruments . Matt will also order anything that they don't have there. I have bought one drum set , lots of cymbals new and used, hardware and lots of sticks and heads. I have sold drum sets on consignment at Midwest also. The service is great , the prices are great and I always feel like a valued customer. I've been shopping at Midwest since the early 90s. It's a great Drum store

Best drum shop! The owner is a great guy and very knowledgeable. The employees of the store are also great. They also have more than just drums! They’ve got a great selection of guitars as well and tons of accessories. Give them a try!

I've been going to this shop since I was 13 years old. That's almost 20 years now. I'm hear to say there is no one more knowledgeable about drums in town then Matt Jansen. Matt and his staff are very patient with anyone that goes into MWD. Perfect place to take your child or teenager to get his or her first drum kit. I promise they will not steer you wrong. He even has great advice for intermediate and professional players. So if you need any type of drum equipment this holiday season or anytime this year, go see my boys at Midwest Drum. Plus if you need any guitar work done. Take it to Zack Roach. He did a phenomenal job getting Timothy Schmidt guitar studio ready.nMuch LovenOwen Davis

I've considered Midwest to be the go-to for anything instrument related for at least 25 years. They have always hired great people and treat everyone that walks in the door like a friend, doesn't matter if you're a total beginner or a pro. If they don't have what I need they've always bent over backwards to either help me find it, or tell me where in town I can get it (even if it means sending me to a competitor). Wichita is lucky to have this place.
