This is my first experience using a moving company, and we moved out of state with them. (Oklahoma to North Dakota) We were told our things would arrive between 6/24 and 7/3, but that 6/24 was the estimated date unless there were issues.nnFirst of all, the crew arrived 2 1/2 hours late on 6/19. ETA was 7-10am, and they didn’t arrive until 12:30pm. They arrived short handed which leads me to believe the person who did the appraisal of our stuff didn’t estimate our load correctly (it was all done over video conference due to COVID), so it took them almost 12 hours to pack and load everything. The leader of the crew had a very bad attitude. I understand being overwhelmed by work especially when things don’t go how you expect, but that’s life. I’d expect someone to “fake it” until the work day is done. We were set to leave town the next day, but due to my husband being stuck with the movers literally all day, we had to wait and leave the day after so he could say goodbye to family and friends. Which is fine it worked out.nnOnce we arrived, we expected to have to stay in a hotel for a day or two. So we did. This company is the WORST at communicating. My husband had to reach out to them with calls and emails every day just to get an update. It’s 2020. Surely an automated email tracking ping can be utilized so people know where their stuff is, since it is apparently too difficult to send a daily, or even an every other day, update manually. So finally after my husband contacted his third party agent who then contacted the movers, we received an update that our things were “in transit” and that we’d be contacted once they reached the destination. So after two days of hotel stay, (our apartment was ready for us the day we arrived)we decided to just head to Walmart and purchase essentials and air mattresses so we didn’t have to keep paying for hotel stays. Thank God, otherwise over a week later we’d still be in a hotel. Now I realize as I’m writing this the company is still within the original ETA as it’s 7/1, so they technically still have two days. We were told the day before yesterday that our stuff would arrive at the facility in ND yesterday, and we would be contacted yesterday to schedule the delivery. We did not hear back yesterday at all. So now today, my husband receives a call that our shipment will not even arrive in ND UNTIL 7/8 due to “carrier issues”. Which leads me to believe our contact either lied to us about our things arriving yesterday to get us to stop emailing about an update, or they are not communicating within their own company. Either way, if there are issues or delays, I would expect to be contacted. Or maybe since my husbands company is the ones paying them, they just don’t find it necessary to keep us in the loop about where our stuff is. It’ll get here when it gets here, I guess.nnNow I realize I’m being a total Karen here, but this could’ve all been avoided with good communication and updates. Our entire home is in the back of a track who knows where, so of course we’d like to know where it is. Especially since my husband is starting a new position in a completely new place and doesn’t need this stress on top of it. Renting a Uhaul and moving ourselves would’ve been less stressful. Especially since we now have to buy things that we already own just to get through the next week or however long. My suggestion is some sort of auto-generated gps ping could be sent to the email of the customer to avoid being overwhelmed by emails while still keeping the customer updated and in the loop. And maybe hire employees who don’t scoff and roll their eyes when being offered water, because they’re complaining of being thirsty, because it isn’t cold.

They lost half my house hold goods but eventually delivered it to me 4 weeks LATE!!! I think people should read these terrible reviews and skip this company but unfortunately for military members we have no choice in who moves us!!
