Charles was absolutely amazing!!! He went above and beyond to save the day and is an asset for the PODS company.nnThe low rating is for the rest of the PODS company. As a military family, we had a unique situation in which we needed to store our items for a year (my husband was deployed and we lived with family). We were unsure of where we would be going next. When I ordered the POD, I told the representative all the places we could move. They assured us there would be no problems transporting the container to Any of these locations. The time came to transport it and PODs informed us they don’t move to our new town. I spoke to customer service who reviewed the recording and confirmed their representative misrepresented their services. He said sorry, we were in the wrong here’s 15% off and you’ll have to have a moving company go to the facility to empty your POD. Horrible way to treat a returning service member and their family. We suffered a tremendous financial and emotional burden because of them. The POD was clean and efficient, the drivers amazing but the call center will run this company into the ground. DO NOT TRUST THEM! We also struggled with incorrect charging/misrepresentation of required insurance initially. The only way I would work with this company again is if I could deal with the drivers/Charles specifically.

I recently needed access to our Pod. Charles was incredibly accommodating and made the whole thing easy and quick. Great service!

The driver who picked up the pod of my neighbor this morning in Andover, KS was extremely rude. His truck and the pod mover blocked my way out of the cul de sac and made me late for a 7:30 am meeting. As I exited my driveway, I motioned/pointed that I needed through. He ignored me and went to unload his pod mover. I pulled through to the neighbor's driveway and started up to ask the neighbor to move her car (on the street) so I could get through. The driver yelled at me to move out of the driveway in front of the pod multiple times, insisting (repeatedly pointing) that I go back into the cul de sac and allow him to load the pod instead of politely moving the pod mover forward to allow me to exit the cul de sac. He told my neighbor he could see why she was moving indicating that it was because of me. He did eventually move the pod mover so that I could exit. However, he could have been courteous and moved the truck so I could get out before he began or he could have courteously explained he would be able to relocate the pod mover to allow me leave without all the verbal bullying. I will not recommend this company unless they do some politeness training with their drivers.

Charles in the Wichita office was perfect, professional , and, extremely helpful! Selling my home there were a lot of hiccups with the buyer and Charles went above and beyond helping us! The low markings are for the rest of this company! The first POD was too small and i had to purchase another one! The small was on the advise of the first rep i spoke to!! Not sure if it’s because of COVID-19 and there being no supervision for at home working employees but I was over charged more than once and then more run around than I can explain! Oh and if your over charged it takes forever to get your refund!! Some of the people I spoke to were good and then there was those few that had no idea what they were doing! I can safely say I have spent more time on hold with this company that anyone should ever have to!! I have spent so much money with them I feel like I should have some stock with them!! If your doing a simple move go for it but if you have issues with closing dates changing and life changing which sometime happens!!! Go with a different company!! Moving is stressful enough without all the issues!!! I say Charles needs a big raise and this company needs to relocate or properly train a good portion of their staff!!! NEVER AGAIN!!

We had the best experience with Charles! He came in to save the day!! The pods customer service representative told us upon booking that we could schedule our pickup and transport of the pods 24-48 hrs before we needed them moved. We called to schedule them more than 48 hrs prior to our move date only to be told the soonest they could move them was 2 weeks out. We already had our move planned, help unloading and time off before starting a new job in our new town. Total miss information on the pods customer services part!!! So frustrating when moving across country with 3 kids and 2 dogs! Luckily I was able to get in contact with Charles who went above and beyond to provide top notch service to us. He was able to accommodate our pickup of our 2 pods on the date we needed and get our stuff safely on the road from Kansas to Washington. I wish all the pods representatives were as honest and hard working as Charles! He brought humor and some serious stress relief to an otherwise nightmare of a situation. Thank YOU, Charles and crew for being so amazing to us!!! Your hard work does not go unnoticed!
