Ultra Modern Pool and Patio - Derby

Great place for pools and spa along with outdoor patio items.

Full disclosure: I've only been here twice, however with that said, both times (that were a couple years apart) were actually very pleasant. Both times the people were helpful without being overbearing, were able to get what I was needing very quickly and didn't try to be pushy about buying anything else. Just nice friendly service.

This store is a bit on the small side but if they do not have it in stock They will get it for you. I get all my Hot Tub parts and chemicals from them. Nice folks to do business with.

Our pool has a serious algae problem and looks like a pond instead of a pool, maybe a swamp. We needed chemicals to nuke the algae and suggestions. She was awesome and so helpful. I don’t remember her name, but she gave me simple directions and we followed them exactly as she said. The pool looks a lot better now, at least we can see the bottom in the shallow areas.

Our experience with Ultra Modern Pool & Patio out of Derby was a positive experience. We had knowledge going into our purchase of another hot tub due to 3 other tubs purchased over the last 32 years. Nathan Abraham was easy to talk to and straight forward with his answers to our questions. Our purchase was all done by phone and e-mails. We were able to purchase and close our deal within 3 hours. We had talked to 3 other hot tub companies and knew Nathan was giving us everything Ultra Modern could offer. The delivery crew arrived early on a cold February day, removed our old tub and placed the new tub without complaining or damaging anything near our tub location. Prior too, during and after the installment of the tub. The Derby home office called us, texted us and e-mailed us checking to see if we needed any assistance or guidance with the new tub. The Derby Ultra Modern, 6 days after the installment, has checked in with us to show there support. We did call into the Derby office once with a question and Nathan was not in. Rachel who also works at the Derby store, knew our name, the tub we purchased and answered our question without even looking at our file. Nathan, Rachel as well as the delivery supervisor, have provided us with there cell phone numbers in case we need anything. I have tried two of these numbers after hours and received a response back within a shirt period of time. We are happy with our purchase and feel comfortable going into the future, knowing Ultra Modern stays in contact with there customers.
