R+L Carriers

I ordered a product from a well known source for auto body parts/pieces and the freight carrier that was chosen happened to be RL. Through the first process of shipping/tracking my package I had no complaints, however the day of arrival is when issue after issue began. I had received a call the day before regarding an appointment for my package to meet the driver to inspect the part upon delivery and was informed of at least a 30 minute window before the driver would arrive at my destination. The following day had came and the driver had given me a call stating he was only 5-10 minutes away so I had no time to prepare (was at work).. the package and part was damaged, RL had told me they require their drivers to take pictures of proof of delivery just for instances that happen like this. Evidence was pulled (pictures of damage) and i’ve still heard nothing from their side or my buying source that has also reached out. I’m ANNOYED and will refuse business of any kind with RL and CANNOT recommend their services in any form. to make a very long story shortened. i’ve called numerous times to the Wichita location and spoke with many different employees including the Terminal Manager Brian Sodders about help with my issues and have been told from my source that they’ve been giving me the run around. I’ve given pro numbers, asked for claims and have nothing but a product over $400 that’s damaged. The duration has been over a month and I don’t even care that the product is damaged, where is the customer service?! DO NOT GO WITH RL

Horrible customer service. Called in to set up delivery date and it sounded like someone kicked their dog. They give little to no details on how packages will be delivered. Got hung up on. Delivery driver handled business professionally, however the other 6 people I spoke with to get to him were horrible. I do not recommend using them unless you absolutely have to. Or hope you never have to call in to their office to try and handle any issue what so ever. If using them to deliver to a residential area, make sure you call and let them know if a full size semi with a trailer can fit in your neighborhood or not!
