I have custom ordered a sectional, lamps and other accessories for my home from Belinda at Nelson designs and they have always exceeded my expectations.nnThey provide the best products and go the extra mile to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my purchases.nAnother plus is their white glove delivery service. It was perfect.nThis is exactly the kind of service, products and price I expect from a small business.

Beautiful stuff

My original review was several months ago and I wanted to up my rating from 2 to 3 stars. I have since returned to the store and I received attentive service. Nelson's Designs has some lovely items. It just wouldn't be fair if I didn't give them a second chance. Here is my original review:nnI would have given Nelson Designs one star but they had nice window displays, the only positive to my visit. I posted a photo of the sign on the door that states they closed early due to sleet. I saw the sign at 4:22pm and their regular closing time is at 5:30 pm. Of the other 15 shops and restaurants in the same shopping center - all were OPEN! The roads were not even slick and there was absolutely no snow accumulation. The manager couldn't have made it another hour? My wife and I are looking for a particular sofa and we are interested in selecting our own fabric. Apparently this can be done at Nelson Designs, but I wouldn't know because they closed early. I prefer to shop local but at least the big box stores show up when they say they will be open. If you can't stand the grind of retail, maybe you should be a banker. It's just not acceptable when I am prepared to drop a couple of grand on furniture and you are not even open. As of this posting, all precipitation has stopped and just a trace of snow accumulation for the morning is forecasted. Jeez they better close tomorrow as well.

Nice stuff but really expensive.
