New sales person had some problems getting the order right, but finally got it. Installers were punctual, pleasant, and professional. Did a VERY good job on offer install. Will use them again.

They try but this place is SOOOO disorganized. I ordered a carpet and then 2 weeks late when it was supposed to be installed they said they had no record of my order even though my name was on their calendar (but no last name apparently). Also you should know that they charge 10% for using a credit card if labor is include d- who ever heard f such a thing. The things in their showroom are mostly not in stock so you have to wait for 2-3 weeks to get that in (but this is normal in the midwest). The only things they have in stock are your standard ugly midwest housing supplies - brown and beige carpets that smell of plastic. If you want environmentally friendly carpets that don't gas off or wool ones, look elsewhere. I got stuck with them - but if you have a choice - go elsewhere. They try hard but basically they have bad internal communication with workers leaving a lot, different people each day etc. There is a reason why carpet ONE has a 6 week lead time and carpet plus is faster - noone goes here so they are less busy. They never offered a discount for THEIR mistake of loosing my order.nnLATER: I downgraded my review by one star more because of this company's inability to be businesslike and respectful to the customer. I went out of my way to get everything ready for the install of the carpet (which they ordered in) which because of their bad management took an extra 6 weeks. They called me the day before the install to ask when the install date was. I told them we had set it for tomorrow (why do they not have this information??) . Then the morning of the install - the installer was supposed to come at 9 - I called at 9.12 when they had not yet arrived (this is because of their bad track record) - I said no biggie but maybe contact them to see if they are on their way, Low and behold they call back saying the installer is delayed. I told them multiple times before that that I had a medical appointment I could not postpone - that I had to be out fo the house at 12.30. Now i am waiting to hear back about again rescheduling. All they have is excuses and sorry's but the constant changes continue. Someone died, several employees quit, they lost the order - boohoo - I don't care - I am paying more than $1000 - get the job done. How they manage when customers actually have 9-5 jobs i do not know. Someone there just needs business training on how to manage a store. There is no skill there and no scheduling system that works consistently - apparently they also have high staff turnover (I have dealt with 4 people now) - another sign of a lack of management skills. too bad never going here again. They should offer me a deep discount for MY inconvenience.nnLATER: I was told when they did get here that they had measured wrong and that they had to reorder more carpet. I then had to wait another week. They said they would give me a 20% discount, but amazingly they said they had quoted me wrong, so they upped the price and then applied the discount making the price the same. All in all the whole thing cost over $1500 (that ids with a discount!? The original wuote was $650, then they said they made a mistake, then it was 1200, then 1500) for a basic carpet in a room that is 25' x 13'. I am still waiting for the installer who is late again. I will never use this company again.

We received excellent service from Ty. The Carpet we ordered arrived on time, was exactly what we ordered, and installation was scheduled in accordance with our busy schedules. Installer was very professional and courteous!
