I visited the Army exchange today and met a wonderful young woman, who was selling some of their wonderful products. I tried the Lime cheese cake and found it to be a wonderful treat, lite and delicious. I’m not familiar with the business, but I’ll be looking forward to trying something new and telling others about the great taste adventure they have created.
First...the gentle but firm texture of almond sponge cake, then a sweetness melting over my tongue, yes, coffee buttercream. Next, a strong and intense moment with rich, dark chocolate, bold and unyielding, consuming me as I consumed it, but just a little, only there to orchestrate the other flavors into a perfect harmony, cultivating desire. I love you Opera cake. I hate to gush....but Chef Miriam has mastered the perfect balance between science and art so desperately crucial to amazing pastries. For this....I thank you.
The absolute best cheesecake in Leavenworth, Kansas. It is wonderfully light and flavorful. My favorite is the blueberry cheesecake. It's divine. I forgot to take a picture, it was so good. The serving size is shareable but you won't want to share. It's that good.
These pastries are excellent. I tried them for the first time when she was set up at the Fort Leavenworth PX. Really loved these treats!
