Some of the best donuts around
These are the best donuts I've had from a chain. Nice selection. Fresh but not warm. I got a med roast coffee too, it seemed dark and strong. Better than light and weak I guess. I wanted a pound of ground coffee to bring home, all they had was decafe. I got the felling the kid behind the counter couldn't care less about his job.
The only bad thing about Lamar's is that I have to drive through nice neighborhoods full of runners and bicyclists reminding me that I should be outside and not indulging in these delicious donuts. Then I arrive and am reminded that you only live once! Great service and in my opinion the best donuts you can get around the southern suburbs of Kansas City. The donuts are soft and the icing is plentiful. They rarely ever run out of your favorite donut. The coffee is actually pretty good as well having robust flavors.
Well the donuts are good but no one there is concerned about masks. The employees were wearing masks but the 3 other customers were not and apparently knew one of the employees. The food is sitting out on racks in the open air where these people were breathing. I felt very uncomfortable.
The donuts are great but the customer service is lacking. The woman helping us seemed bothered that we showed up from the moment we walked in the door. The worse part is that she sat our donuts on the dirty counter with no paper or anything underneath while she got the others instead of putting them in a box.Kind of odd and the person I was with wanted to leave immediately
