Price Chopper

Convenient to Planet fitness, so I am here often after a workout. Parking is more convenient than the Hy Vee about a mile east. Glass recycling available at southwest corner of the lot.

If you are need of get in and get out, this is the right place. Not much crowded at any one time.

They are selling Pie Five Pizza take home kits with no instructions on how to cook them. I thought the instructions were in the box. Wrong. When I called the store for help the deli person gave a a generic temp and time the might work to cook the pizzas. DO NOT waste your time on this product. Very disappointed in the store to sell something with no help on how to prepare. Thank you for ruining a family meal and letting me throw 45 dollars away. Will NOT be visiting your store again.

Great shopping experience, prompt attention when needed.

Today I had an experience that I have to talk about. I am a regular customer at this Price Chopper- 135th and Quivira. I shop here all the time and have not had an experience like this. I went in at around 9:10pm on Thursday 5/28/20 and got one item and went to the service desk to check out. There were two lines open and they had about two people waiting but they had quite a bit of stuff. I only had tomatoes. I approached the associate and he mumbles something and went into the room behind the service desk and then came back. He then told me he had shut the customer service area. He could not take care of me. He was so unfriendly and curt. I proceeded to join a line and this service desk associate followed me to the line and asked the guy infront of me who had a basket full of things to go to the service desk to get him checked out. I am black and that guy was white. This associate DENIED ME SERVICE IN PREFERENCE OF THE WHITE GUY. THIS IS RACISM!!! I couldn't even believe that this was happening right in front of my eyes. I asked to speak to the manager and I spoke to a gentleman who said he would take care if it. I have to speak up here so this does not happen to another person. In this day and age you would think this kind of stuff shouldn't happen but it is. I know Price Chopper does not condone this kind of behavior. As I said earlier, I shop here all the time and the associates are so nice, friendly and professional. I have never experienced this before. But this one person that shows racist behavior towards customers needs retraining. This is unacceptable and it hurts to the core. I hope this gets addressed.
