Someone was always available to assist and answer questions. Very friendly, very punctual.

the movers were nice enough... but they broke a lot of things, packed random things in random boxes. for example, mom's computer was dismantled by myself, and set neatly on her desk. after 2 days I found the computer in one box, the speakers in one box, keyboard and mouse in yet another... and the power supply brick for the computer was in a box for another room!nnwhen I have to move, I will just sell what I can, trash whatever doesn't fit in my truck.

This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a moving company. Everything was prompt when they were trying to earn my business, once they earned my business, it was all down hill. My rep said you can have boxes and he’d bring them by my house, that never happened, I had to go up there multiple times to get boxes. Called to speak with him to go over pricing discrepancies and he was never “available”. So I went up to the office and was told to my face he wasn’t there as I’m looking at him sit at his cubicle. I couldn’t believe what was going on. It was too late to switch to another company because I was days away from moving. They sent out the packers the day before the truck was supposed to arrive and they did not have ANY packing materials. The final straw that led to this review is I opted for the insurance for items lost or damaged. Well I have items that never made it to my home and items that were damaged. They declined everything I claimed except the damaged tv stand. So I still have not been reimbursed for the other items I have that are in house that don’t work or the items that mysteriously never made it that were inventoried during packing. Absolutely would not recommend them for anyone. They are not professional and not helpful. Moving across the country is enough stress, don’t need the people responsible for moving your personal items to add to it.

Beltmann Relocation Groupnn29 October 2019nnWe have been asked to give feedback to you about our recent move from Kansas City, MO to Columbus, OH and I am most happy to do so----although it will not be a positive review. Our recent move was the sixth cross-country move and our first with Beltmann and North American. It will most definitely be the last time we use either company.nnThe initial estimator misjudged our load size, but we were not informed of that until the last day of our contractually-promised delivery date. On that day, since we had heard nothing from anyone at the company, we called to find out what time our belongings would be delivered and were informed that only a portion of our load would be delivered, and that would be several days late. The remainder was to come at a later date, and we were not told when that would be. As the WEEKS rolled by, we had daily conversations with personnel at Beltmann who could not tell us when our things would be shipped and delivered. At one point, and we are not lying about this, Beltmann personnel suggested it would be faster if we came back to Kansas City and picked up our own things and moved them !! We were appalled at this suggestion. Unfortunately, we had already paid for the entire move and had no recourse to try and receive our things. Essentially, they were being held hostage in the Beltmann warehouse. At one day shy of a MONTH, Beltmann made the decision to crate and ship our remaining belongings. They arrived in two huge wooden crates and were unloaded by a fine, helpful local company.nAnd to top it off, of the three pieces of furniture that were harmed in the move, North American refused to repair one of them. We were sent two small sums “because of our trouble.” A check for $250 from North American and $150 from Beltmann----out of a move costing $7000. And a month after contract.nnIn sum, let us say that this move was roundly negative. The only positives were the moving driver/crew and the unloading folks in Columbus. Of the several people we dealt with at Beltmann, only one was helpful. A woman named Christina tried her best to be helpful but seemed to be hampered at every turn.nnWe cannot recommend either North American Movers or Beltmann Relocation Group.
