5 stars is not enough. This is the best place in town!! New to the state and did some bakery tours yesterday. Sadly we went to upper crust last. It should have been the first and only stop. The place smells amazing!! The staff was o so friendly, and the cookies and pies were o so amazing. We had the corn and bacon quiche, it was the creamiest quiche i have ever had.. I can't wait to go back! This is my go to from now on.
I freaking love this place, and am so grateful for it’s existence. Thank you for making gorgeous, delicious pies, and for being a place I can count on when I need to bring something amazing to share. Love you!
My new favorite place in Kansas City! The variety of pastries and quiche - exquisite! We've never tasted a better pie in our lives. The woman who served us, who might have been the owner (because of the initiative and pride she took in sharing information) - was a true delight. This is the kind of place you'll want to return to on a weekly basis - if your belt notches can afford it :)
I love this place. The decor is warm and welcoming, but if you look closely, what appears to be ‘grandma’s kitchen’ has a fresh bite to it.nThe products are fun, functional and edgy. The pictures reflect local artists. The food is DIVINE!
German Chocolate cutie pie was delicious, perfectly flaky and not overwhelmingly sweet (typical of authentic German style pastries) Comfy atmosphere and friendly staff.nnAlso, the drip coffee was actually really good. Usually when I've served my own coffee at other places they treat it as an afterthought and it is usually burnt or left out for a long time.
