A very nice, delicious old fashioned dohnut shop. I've tried their buttermilk donut which was fantastic, honey dipped which was a refreshing slight less sweet glazed donut(very tasty), apple fritter, which I can't recommend enough. It's hard to find a good fritter anymore... This place nails it in flavor and texture. And I've had their pineapple fritter... Very similar to a pineapple upside down cake but with those crunchy fritter edges. Fast friendly service. I can't recommend this place enough... Way better than the big name places

Mr. D’s is a quaint little donut shop with small town vibes. Was recommended to go there by a friend and every time I’ve been never disappointed, while the variety isn’t large, their donuts are always fresh, priced well, and the service is great. In and out very quickly. Definitely a good place to go for a simple sweet treat for breakfast!

Been going to this business for 40 years. The past was great with Mr. D and his wife and the present with Johnny and Boggie is the best. The facility has been upgraded and is very clean and neat. The donuts are always tasty and the service is second to none. This business is a marque for the city of Shawnee. Always treated with appreciation for your business. Thank you.

THE best, freshly made donuts in the KC metro! The same charming shoppe that I began frequenting in the mid 80’s, with the same great Buttermilk donuts. Everything is mouthwatering and delicious, but go early for the best selection. Fantastic!

I love donuts. LOVE donuts. And these are the best I've ever had. The raised ones are to die for. If I could choose a last meal, it would be to gorge myself on the chocolate bars. The best part is, their coffee is also fantastic taken black. The customer service is so friendly and patient. I'll be a life-long customer.
