It's an okay Price chopper, very clean and friendly staff, but a smaller store. Really looking forward to the new bigger better one opening.
This Price Chopper recently closed on the 16th and 17th for a technology upgrade. When I went in early on 3/22 and went to check out, I tried swiped my debit card as I always do, it seemed to take but when the cashier completed scanning everything and submitted the transaction she got a failed to connect error. We tried a second time and got the same connect error. I had to go to the ATM and use the same card and pay a service fee to use the ATM to get the cash to pay for my groceries. Not much of a technology upgrade I'd say! Also the morning cashier always seems to be in a foul mood and unfortunately she seems to be the only cashier working the AM shift. Would it hurt management to stress customer service and how to interact with people when considering hiring these people? I hope this improves before they open the new store. I really don't want to start shopping at Wal Mart again.
