My 10 year old son has taken piano lessons with Brock for three years. When my son started lessons, he could not read notes. Brock has been an excellent teacher and my son has learned so much. He now knows how to play numerous intermediate level songs. Brock does a great job with helping my son maintain his interest in playing and practicing the piano. He makes sure to find songs that my son loves to play including some of the popular music on the radio today. I would recommend Brock as a piano teacher for any child or adult.

He has been supportive of Ben being in other activities and provided flexibility to work in piano lessons around sports. He loves music and piano and definitely shares that with his students. He is passionate about teaching piano and that shows in each lesson. He has been exceptional to work with students to play more contemporary music and even writes some music himself. He is very calming and supportive!! We would highly recommend Brock.
I have taken lessons with Brock for the past 2 years and it has been one of the most fulfilling things I have done. I highly suggest if you are interested in piano to just try it out and see where it goes from there, I do not think you will regret it. Brock is a great teach who helped me focus on the aspects of piano I wanted to learn and allowed be to develop to become the player I am today.
Brock is a multi talented musician and teacher. He is encouraging and exacting at the same time so that you push to improve. He writes and records his own music and he is adept in many genres. I’m interestednin jazz, improv, pop, rock, vocals which he teaches and I know he does classical. The zoom lessons have been very good (and as adult student I was at first skeptical) and he provides a complete computer audio and video file recording of each lesson so you can replay whatever section you want to focus on when you practice. Go for it!
Brock is a very talented performer AND instructor. As an adult learner, I appreciate his ability to tailor his approach to best tackle whatever is being worked on. I’ve also seen him engage with difficult students with a level of patience I can only aspire to some day. 5-stars!
