Would recommend them to everyone. Fixed my daughters viola correctly (unlike the other place we were at a year ago) and it didn't cost an arm & leg. Very friendly. Responded quickly even around the holidays.

Steve Mason is a pillar of the Lawrence community as well as a fine musician and luthier. Steve Mason Luthiers are the best stringed instrument doctors around. They can fix anything on a guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, ukeleli, bass, cello etc. If it has strings they can make it sound better. They also build lovely guitars!!! Steve is the most experienced luthier in the north east Kansas area and his repairs show the ultimate in care and craftsmanship!
