I bought a refurbished Nintendo Switch (Gen1 I am now told) back in April. I was playing it during quarantine in late July when all of a sudden it just died. I researched the topic and found out this generation of the console has a battery problem. I tried all sorts of different button combos that I found on YouTube to reset the switch and hopefully bring it back to life, but nope, wasn't happening. I hadn't read great reviews on GameStop's actual website about their customer service, so I wasn't expecting a great resolution when I walked into the Great Bend store last week. However, Rose was AWESOME. I explained to her that I wasn't aware of the battery issue prior to buying. She asked if I purchased the 2 year extended warranty and I said no, it hadn't been offered to me when I purchased the Switch. I told her that had I known about a battery issue and that there was a 2 year warranty available for cheap, I would have purchased it in a heartbeat. I admitted I probably didn't do enough research before buying as I was just pumped to actually get one (they were and are, I believe, still very hard to come by). Even though I didn't have the warranty she took care of my issue and exchanged the Switch, no problem. Had the new one mailed to my home address and it showed up about 4 days later. Now that is SERVICE. I was fully prepared to walk out of there never planning to go back in, but now I can safely say I will probably buy all games, accessories, etc. exclusively from GameStop for the foreseeable future. Our local GameStop has had its ups and downs, and with COVID-19 ravaging the planet their stock is slim, but the employees are still very polite and professional every time we go. Hopefully things get more back to normal soon.

Staff was friendly .ordering or keeping up with great customer needs is lacking company wide. I have come to the fact that walmart or order elsewhere online is a better option. I bought a game I didnt even want. Because I waited a week for a game that never showed up .

Does not listen because I said is there an Xbox 360 headset but they bring me an Xbox One headset
