MORGAN IS THE BEST! Hands down, Morgan is the best hairstylist I’ve ever had. I’ve been going to her for years now and I would trust her with my life. I go in for appointments and I don’t even have to tell her what I want, she just works her magic and I always leave feeling amazing. I’m a blonde naturally but I lighten my hair with highlights. The thing I love about her work though is that she strategically highlights in a way so when my roots grow out It’s not a hard line, it’s a rooted, “lived in” look that requires less visits to the salon.nDON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE HAND TIED EXTENSIONS. Holy beautiful. I had Morgan put in extensions for my wedding and I had a TON of compliments. It pretty much made the whole look.nIf you’re looking for a stylist that you can trust and will keep you coming back, Morgan is your girl! I can’t say enough good things!

During the process of being a blonde again, I was excited to try this place because I had the confidence that my expectations were well explained the day I went to schedule an appointment. However, I left the place feeling completely scammed! They didn’t do a bad job, but it was not even close to what I asked for and when I left them know so they could offer me a solution they only suggested that a second time will give me the color I was expecting. Well, this was my third time so there are not excuses.nnIn conclusion: pretty place but way overpriced services.

I thought I had found my new “salon home” until they refused to serve my eight year daughter based on her age. They said she would not fit in with the “atmosphere they are trying to portray”. Their level of acceptance begins at the magical age of 12. If my daughter’s business isn’t good enough for you, then neither is mine. I guess I didn’t realize that businesses could legally practice agism. Guess my lifelong search for a great salon continues.

Hank & Ax is the best salon I have been to in Omaha! Everyone is super friendly. Highly recommend going to Chelsea- she does a fantastic job and makes the visit so enjoyable!

The staff at Hank & Ax are absolutely wonderful! They are quick to respond to your scheduling needs and questions. The staff is friendly and welcoming and they do an amazing job!
