Nicola's Italian Wine & Fare

What a fantastic place... The Patio has Trees, Character and a good view of the street activities. Food is Outstanding, and John, the Owner on top of his game. Were in town to visit the Zoo and stopped in for Dinner... And we were pleased with the entire experience. Food was prepared to perfection and it was a good end to a good day. Highly recommended.

I'm an Omaha NE native and I LOVE Italian food. I've been a devoted fan of Malara's for years. My husband and I stopped in and were absolutely blown away. Not only have they earned our business but I can't wait to tell everyone!

I hate to do this as Nicolas has been a go to for my wife and I for years. Tonight was bad, real bad. We got sat and were not acknowledged for over 20 minutes. It was one server (the owner) running the entire full patio. A patio that needed a lot of help. There was trash all around the perimeter of the patio that looked like it had been there for quite some time. Our food came out fine (took over 40 min) but again, one server will do that so we didn’t really care. The real killer of it all was when we got our bill , and noticed that the pricing for our entrees were higher on our bill than they were listed on the menu. My wife’s entree was listed at 16.95 and showed $22.30 on the bill and mine was listed at $18.95 and rang up as $19.99. We were so annoyed with the experience at that point that I just paid the bill and left. I double checked the menu on my way out to verify I was correct about the pricing, but chose not to say anything as the owner didn’t seem like he would care anyway and I didn’t care about the $8.nSad to see our favorite place for years being let go. Not sure we will be back.

Italian food and the feeling at this place is super good. this location is one of my favorites. looking forward to coming back with my relatives. feels similar to a restaurant in new york i loved.

Food was great! Service was amazing. We will be back! Delicious!
