I have been with Britton on the flatbed division for 8 years. I like it here for the most part. A pretty good place to work with friendly and usually helpfully office people. And I make a lot more miles and money than at any previous job I've had. BTW, Michigan J. Wabbit is full of it. While it is true that flatbed tractors not currently assigned are sometimes used on the van fleet, a driver is not. I don't know about hauling flowers or not. But I've never heard of it, and I've never been forced to pull a van nor do I know anyone from the flatbed side who has. The Des Moines terminal does not run the company. It is just another terminal, with a terminal manager who does a great job to the best of my knowledge. Take these reviews with a grain of salt. I can tell you for certain that they aren't all even remotely accurate.
Very clean and organized terminal for drivers. Amenities inside and interior designing is immaculate. You can definitely tell they invest money into the driver facilities. And no I'm not paid to say this. I'm a current driver for them.
Driver of truck 2028 has no intrest in fueling at the ta in valley Grove wv lots and lots of parking but hed rather hold up the fuel island I've taken a 30 minute break behind him after he takes a 30 minute break now he gets fuel dont worry bout the rest of the truckers in the country
Owned my bison so great.
Great company to work for good benefits great friendly co workers great home time when needed the people there made me feel like a part of the Britton family right away
