I had a freight delivery from this place, and they are extremely friendly. They called me the day before to make sure the next day would work. The driver was awesome too. He called me and kept me updated when he would show up. Very friendly and professional!
They started opening at 2am about a year ago according to the guy that received our freight. News to us since we've always ended up waiting around all morning for them to open.
R & L called to tell me they will deliver between Noon-5 PM and will need an adult signature. They could not be any more specific than a 5 hour window, it's 2019, they have my phone number.nnI take half a day off work so I can be home Noon-5. I get home and my package is already in the garage, they knocked on my neighbors door and asked him to sign it at 10 AM. Apparently they will just go around getting any stranger to sign it!nnUnprofessional. Possibly illegal. Not happy!

I actually enjoy coming here! I usually pick up this load from their Chicago terminal. This is a nice quiet small dock in the middle of nowhere! They open up at 0700. I normally get here the night before and start my 10hr. They do allow parking along the back side of the dock in the drop trailer section. Staff are friendly and helpful! They unload ya pretty quick here. Oh and this place isn't called R and L Carriers... I was confused my first time here... It's called Mc Carmack Transportation!!!! Located right next to the Ambulance repair shop. Also to get here... after driving through their little old business area.. you make a right onto East St and drive through a residential. My first time here... I thought I was going the wrong way lol. But after you come out of the residential area, the build is on the right hand side just after the ambulance repair shop.
