Some of the best donuts I’ve ever had and I consider myself an executive donut connoisseur. I also purchased a jar of pears that was delicious. Sort of off the beat and path but in a really wholesome way. If you’re near Kalona, IA I highly recommend checking out this precious hidden treasure.
Locally made Amish baked goods, jams, noodles and canned or pickled everything you can think of. Plus a number of authentic Amish goods from other communities. Also lovely hand crafted rocking chairs, a huge selection of premium wind chimes, and gorgeous plants.
Best baked goods on the planet!! Love the fritters! The store is clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful.
We arrived late afternoon, slim pickings of baked goods. Blueberry muffin was sooo moist, tons of blueberries, not overly sweet. Yummy! Will try to get back early next time to try the donuts.
I had an apple fritter that was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and informative ud83dudc4d. The prices were very good.
