One of the best donut shops in Iowa! I am glad that I found this place! If you are tired of TOO sweet donuts, try this place!
Best donuts in town! The apple fritter is crispy and delicious. Our kids crave the donut holes. The old fashioned/sour cream donuts remind me of my childhood. More often than not some donuts are still warm. The review stating their donuts were stale is not accurate at all. We live within blocks of DD and H's donuts in Coralville and do not hesitate to drive all of the way across town. Their proximity to Java is another benefit.
Whats better than glazed donut holes and chocolate raised donuts?? Yums. Reminds me of home in Georgia
Today, was my first day having daylight donuts! I have had locally own business donuts in Cedar Rapids before where I went to school and the quality wasn’t that great, but since moving to Iowa city I had been craving donuts and, “Daylight Donuts”, was right around the corner from my apartment and 10/10 recommend! The staff was friendly, service was great, not too pricey, and the donuts were fresh !!
Daylight donuts is the place to be! The staff are amazing and care about what they do. Plus the donuts are the best!
