I used this company twice to move- the first time (May 2018) they were great. The second time, they were late to start and late to our new house by 30 minutes, they left scratches into the drywall (not surface scratches) and doors. They forgot things at our old house that James had to come pick up. They were careless with our furniture and clearly did not use a big enough trailer for the level of things we had, which led to over packing and damage of our things. He quoted me a price then charged more, which I had no choice but to pay because they'd already completed the move. I called to complain and was told we would be taken care of. Then I never heard back. That was November 2019. I would not recommend this company!

James and his crew are hands down the best moving company. I have used them to move both my residence and business, each on different occasions. They do a great job, meeting the deadlines set, and at an affordable price. They are courteous, polite, and punctual. I recommend them to anyone planning a move, whether it is a few blocks or across the country.

My family had a great experience working with James at the Cedar Rapids Festival of Trees. Always Moving Forward delivered our family's winning auction tree. They were extremely friendly and kind. We definitely know who we will be calling when we move in the future and who we would recommend locally to others! Can't beat excellent customer service.

Very easy to work with, prompt and courteous response to my two reschedules. The team that moved us maintained their professionalism and even their sense of humor while moving a lot of stuff. They even went to our storage unit to pick things up. Would highly recommend.
