Great Plains Transport is a great place to work at. If you will work and do as needed the management will reward you with above industry pay. Its work for pay with great benefits, paid vacation, paid home time. 401k ect.
My family and I were just almost hit by truck number 6010. He drove out in front of us as he had a stop sign and he seen us coming. My one month old daughter is in the back seat, I’m thankful we have somewhat of good enough brakes to slam on Otherwise he would’ve hit us and possibly hurt us severely.
Aggressive recruiting, incompetent leadership, and uncaring owners. A company who is only out for their pocket books. Lack of communication and compassion towards their drivers. Drivers beware, take head on a company thats a predatory company, promise the moon and gives you cheese. You've been warned....
I just signed on with great plains, and I am scheduled to start working on September 1st. I have been reading all these reviews and am starting to wonder if it's too good to be true. I have been promised guarantee in the past, but the minute I broke down they shorted my pay that week.
10/5 would recommend this company to anyone looking to be with a great family friendly company.
