Friendly people, neat selection in store. Not great for strings rental/rent to own. The sales pitch is that you can trade up sizes as your student grows. I started calling in February to trade up to the next size. It's November. We still don't have a replacement instrument. I've called over and over and over again. Finally got management involved in September. Was told it would be resolved soon. That was two months ago. They called and told me it would be here on the truck a week ago. Still nothing. Had to rent an additional instrument from the school so my daughter would have something to play in the meantime. We'll likely be in the market for a string Bass next year, but suspect we'll purchase it elsewhere.
Cool music store. Quite the selection of instruments. From didgeridoo's to cow bells even steel drums. They even let you do your best Tommy Lee impression. They all so repair instruments as well. Pretty knowledgeable and friendly staff as well. Have Some Pretty SWEET gutairs As well.
I needed a gift for my sister, purple music stand. There wasn't any the so Marty ordered and called vendor to make sure I'd get in time for Christmas. He called to let me know arrived 3 or 4 days later.Awesome personal service,greatly appreciated.Excellent selection of musical products and nice atmoshere.

Very friendly and comprehensive family owned shop, formerly Kepharts music, they merged with West Music (Coralville) a few years ago and relocated to Asbury and JFK Road...
