Brinkman Building Center

Seems like a nice place but what's up with the website?!?!

I think that this place was very helpful. The staff was willing to help me find what I needed quickly and efficiently. I had no problem what-so-ever with any staff.

We would have liked to keep our business locally but after our experience we will never be back here, which is a shame because we have many large home projects coming up. We were disappointed to find the wrong hinges on the high end storm door we special ordered from Brinkman Building Center. We purchased this door based on the floor model display in the facility showing heavy duty hinges and that was the primary reason we purchased this specific door.nnAfter picking up the door and opening it at home, we learned from the salesman that the store display was not updated with the new hinge style when we looked at it and sadly could no longer get that heavy duty hinge anymore. Since we paid over $400 for this door, we were very frustrated.nnThe worst part was that it took me calling Brinkman's 5 times for a week to finally get an answer on the outcome of getting the original hinge we thought we paid for. The salesman we worked with had to ask for my phone number each time I called him back for an update. We ended up receiving a backup hinge for free, which I also had to follow up on a month later to see if it arrived in the store to pick up.nnThe saddest part of this experience was going back to the store a month after picking up the purchased door to pick up the backup hinge and seeing they had not updated their floor model with the different hinge style. The poor service, follow up and lack of priority to update their product display shows us that Brinkman does not care about receiving any more business from us nor takes their customer's business seriously.
