Tom is THE consummate professional, he is patient, kind, courteous and a master at his craft. The chairs he re-upholstered for me (a love seat, armchair and occasional chair) are beautiful. They were all family heirlooms and will remain just that for many years to come, thanks to Tom’s meticulous work. I highly recommend and endorse JM Upholstery.
Just got back two chairs that we had done here. As asked, he kept the look of my grandmother's old chairs, but with new modern fabric and cushions! So pleased with how they came out. Highly recommended to anyone in need of re-upholstering and updating old furniture!
2 sofas which are good quality, but after years of kids and dogs, needed repair. I couldn't find anything comparable in stores. Lots of fabric to choose from and very happy with result! Highly recommend.
Tom is a master.nnHe's done two antique sofas and two chairs for us. Our friends have had window seats and leather upholstery and we've had tweed and silk. The first piece done is still gorgeous looking. He does an amazing job, durable, beautiful craftsmanship. Very reasonably priced. The stuff I've seen in his shop either in progress or completed is really cool. Let him show you what he can do and you won't be disappointed. I wish I had saved before and after photos. Dull, rickety flea market finds turn into solid beauties. We've trusted him with our heirlooms.nnWe had debated buying new and our one new chair wore out long before any of the pieces he's done for us. His stuff holds up with kids, a dog and yes, even a cat.nnUse J and M and you will not be disappointed.
Tom is very knowledgeable and patient. He has many fabric samples to choose. He doesn't rush you and has many good ideas to help with the decision making.
