Wow, our experience with Renewal by Andersen has been nothing but a great experience. We just replaced every window in our home. From the first phone call I made to set up a meeting, to the meeting with John, to the day they started installing our windows was enjoyable –I will say it did take longer than we hoped from signing the contract to the actual install; but that was mostly because we were so excited and anxious to get our new windows installed. The install only took 3 and a half days and they installers we courteous and took pride in their work -you could just tell they enjoyed their jobs; which was kind of refreshing to see. From the time the guys arrived at home to do the install, they were focused on workmanship you could tell. I never saw them sitting around taking breaks or playing on their phones---ha, after the last contractor we had at our home for a different project I figured slow work was normal. Not with Renewal, these guys worked hard each day and really made our new windows look great. I am so thankful for the good job and a complete job! Thank you John and the guys for everything. It was a pleasure to work with you. Our new windows look great & they are so easy to operate….and the view is crystal clear (even with the screens). Dan helped us with home exterior remodeling project. We actually first had our window and doors replaced with Renewal by Andersen---and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to work with them. Because of the connection, we also had Dan quote new siding for our home. We ended up residing the exterior and adding some stone for added curb appeal. As I wrote in my review for the windows, the process from start to finish was so easy! In addition to the siding, we had 12 windows installed also. Both the siding and the window installers were great---everyone we came into contact with was professional, kind and helpful! We love our homes new look from the street. Thank you Western Products for helping us plan, visualize our home with the proposed changes, and really help us make through the process. There were some hard decisions to make and it was a big investment for us; but we could not be happier with our choices. Absolutely fantastic experience with this company. From quoting to finish, everything was explained, followed up with, and was a real joy to work with. The quality of the work and product are top notch. I had an entry door and sidelight replaced and they both look beautiful.

My siding project just finished up and I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend Western Products! I was happy with each step of this project with talking to Myron at the Home and Garden Show at the FargoDome, to scheduling, working with the installers, and the follow up review at the end. The 2 gentlemen that did the siding install did a tremendous job on the siding. I felt very comfortable talking with the two guys each day of the project and confident with their ability to do an exceptional job. I am very happy with my new siding, thank you Western Products!

We hired Western Products to reroof on asphalt roof and to add a metal roof to top peak roof. All new metal siding on top story. New fascia, soffit, & gutters. In mid-March of this year, two young men showed up to start on the roofs. They were sub-contractors for Western. They tore all the shingles off the whole north side of the house, porch, and would of continued to if we didn't stop them. I spoke to several contractors who said you never tear off more than you can reroof in a day. My Husband called Brady several times to tell him we were having issues with these kids. He knew they weren’t installing the shingles on the porch section to the manufacture instructions, which voids the warranty. They would cut small sections of rotten board out instead of replacing the entire roof decking. We finally were so frustrated we asked Brady to tell them to stop, and we would find someone else to roof it.nWhen I asked Brady several times to give me an itemized bill so I could pay Western for just the materials and removal, Brady never emailed or called back. When I did finally get ahold of him, he said they don’t do itemized bills and the price wouldn’t change. He also said there was a lot he didn’t charge me for. Really? The reason we needed more materials is because those kids roofed the porch wrong and Brady had to send a crew back over to redo it. The crew that came to redo the porch roof actually did a good job and replaced the roof decking and installed the shingles to manufacture instructions. Those two young kids were not experienced. My house is 100 years old. Nothing is level on it. In my opinion it should have been experienced guys. I had to go buy tarps to put up to cover my open exposed roof and exterior. We ended up getting several inches of ice and snow after the roof deck was exposed. They also didn’t use their heads when they pulled the trailer out of the yard on a warm afternoon and they tore my grass apart. I spent hundreds of dollars just on dirt and seed. I was also told they would run a magnet roller over the driveway and yard. I never saw the roofers or gutter installers do that. We have found so much metal and nails. My son stepped on a piece of metal from the gutter guys. Luckily, he didn’t need stiches. Then, a week later I found more screws in the driveway from the gutter guys. It is just unbelievable how careless your workers are.nThe siding guys get 5 stars. Those two guys were awesome! They spent weeks working on the fascia, soffit, and siding. They cleaned up each day after working. They had both been doing it for 20 plus years and it showed. They are the only good thing about this project.nNext, is the metal roof. I am so disgusted with those guys too. They had a skylight to install too. Brady ordered the wrong size skylight. Because the window was too small a box was made for it out of 2 by 4’s. We can live with that, but the damage the roofers did to the fascia is inexcusable. They cut a piece out of the metal fascia; for some unknown reason. I had a contractor look at it and no one can understand why they would do that. We again spent weeks trying to reach someone. When we did finally talk to one guy he never called back. We found out he no longernworked there. No one communicates with each other at Western! We finally said forget it and told the last person who called that we didn’t want them to come fix it. I can’t trust that your people would be able to fix it without doing more harm than good. I would risk damaging thendrip edge, shingles, etc. just to fix it. I had lost all faith in your company at this point.The “all new gutters” is also owned by Western products and took forever to get that final project done. Again, we spent weeks calling to find out when that would happen. They almost had it all done in one day but were missing a small piece. promised to be back the next day. Didn't see them for 2-3 weeks. Kept calling and asking. No one has an answer. Avoid this company!! They lack communication, professionalism, and customer service. You can save more money by avoiding them.
