Home Depot, pleasurable experience?… Not generally something often thought of in the same sentence. But in this case it is an extreme understatement. At the Wallingford Connecticut Home Depot I placed an order for delivery and failed to pay attention to when the delivery date would be. When I realized my error I notified A customer service representative named Gail. Who after hearing me out explained to me that the person I needed to speak with was the assistant manager Jonathan. Jonathan worked hand-in-hand with me for a total of two hours helping me figure out exactly what I needed to order, and help me find a way to get it off the rack and into a vehicle as quickly as possible so that I could move forward with my plan as scheduled. Assistant manager Jonathan ended up enlisting the help of three associates named Alonzo, Kyle and Jake who helped me load and find pieces of my entire order so that I could properly continue with my day. The three of them worked with me for another 45 minutes while we collected my order and pulled it off the shelf together. Realizing that we were working very hard and very diligently Don a pro services specialist manager worked very hard to make sure that everything was moving as smoothly and as swiftly as it possibly could. As this whole thing was going on with the order, Eunece, a customer service representative, was working behind the scenes to help us get out of the store as easily as we could. The entire wonderful experience ended with a man named Jimmy, Jimmy works in rental tools, who worked very hard to get me the vehicle I need it, in a timely manner, for the time I needed, and answered any other questions I had. At the end of it all The assistant manager Jonathan and another manager named Kevin both came over and asked me how we were doing. And confirmed that everything worked the way I needed to and everything worked the way that best served everyone involved. As a military man I take great pride in seeing when teams work so effectively together. But even that in this matter is a gross understatement not only was this team fast efficient and effective, but never once did they ever waiver from their ability to become professional polite and genuinely a pleasure to do business with. I’d like to thank every single one of them! Without everyone coming together to make this happen my entire schedule would’ve been absolutely uprooted they completely saved the day!!

They need to stock up on things better.. i went to get a light grey grout caulk and it was out of stock...not good when you need it asap....but returns counter person was very nice and quick...Wallinford store in Ct..

Wonderful experience John with the power tools best customer service anybody could ever ask for there's someone named I think Sal and Dan they were wonderful can't help but to go there just because of the service

I would give zero star if possible. We ordered a serving window for a WINDOW SERVICE ICE CREAM SHOP. On July 28 and were given an estimated delivery date for 3 weeks. 3 weeks came and no Window. They said it’s definitely going to be here on a Friday and specifically Friday the 28th of August. Our opening day is September 1st. Today, August 28, we come to find out not only was the window not delivered, it wasn’t even finished in time to put in that shipment. I had a firm discussion with Ed the guy in charge of the milling desk and after reaching no acceptable conclusion, asked for the general manager, Shawn to call me back. Shawn calls back and says there’s absolutely no way they can get it here before next Friday. I asked for them to contact the manufacturer and have them overnight at partially our expense and partially their as that sounds fair. Our conversation concluded by coming to realize the window is already on a truck coming from Georgia and there’s nothing they can do but compensate us at the time of delivery, Sept 4th. This is so unprofessional and unacceptable. 4 weeks of lead time is plenty. Shawn had the audacity to argue with me that we are in a pandemic. NO SH*# Shawn. You took the order DURING THE PANDEMIC, not before. This should have been anticipated. Terrible service. Wish I had enough time to take legal action but not worth my time at this point. Taking my business to Lowes and making sure everyone hears this story
