We got our wedding cake from J Cakes and it was perfect. We followed the tradition of saving the first slice , we didn’t have a tiered cake, and we froze it. Our first anniversary was Nov 2 so I defrosted the cake and after a lovely dinner we dug in. It was AWESOME! Super moist, extremely delicious and we couldn’t be happier. I needed a birthday cake for my wife's birthday. Been living in Hamden for 5 years but unable to find a bakery that was worth repeat business. Googled good bakeries near me and JCakes was the first one suggested and had great reviews. I called Thursday for a cake on Friday and I was accommodated with a beautiful cake. Needless to say the cake was a big hit. Presentation and taste. Definitely worth our repeat business. Definitely worth the money. Looking forward to our next celebratory event.

J Cakes is amazing! They did the cake for my wedding and it was perfect! Not only was the cake delicious, but the design was beautiful. They worked with us during the consultation to make sure it was the cake of our dreams. They were also very accommodating with our multiple rescheduled due to COVID. Would definitely recommend for any event!!!!

JCakes made us the most delicious wedding cake! They literally drove through a Tropical Storm and Tornado warnings to bring us our wedding cake at the Madison Beach hotel!! Every route they tried was closed with trees and power lines down, yet they never gave up!! The cake arrived on time so beautiful and we were oblivious to all the lengths they had gone to just to get it to us to make our special day!! It was beautifully decorated and the inside was so fresh and delicious. We loved the layer with Berry filling as much as the layer with the Oreo filling!! They are the greatest!! Thank you JCakes!!

Always beautiful and delicious cakes! Very accommodating even with short notice. We order for every birthday In our family as well as had them make our wedding cake. Highly recommend. Very professional and quality is amazing!
