Really good, but some of the cupcakes don’t need such a heavy frosting. For example, I like the pistachio cupcake but it’s totally ruined with the cream cheese/buttercream frosting. Would love to see a lighter maybe whipped cream pistachio flavored topping.

Best cupcakes & even better customer service! I stopped in my first time overwhelmed by the huge selection of yummy cupcakes awaiting me. I took my time going back and forth in which cupcakes I wanted to try, asking a lot of questions. I didn’t realize until after I left that I had walked in, just as they were closing. No one told me they were closed or closing up, no one rushed me while choosing my cupcakes and everyone there answered all of my questions genuinely. I felt horrible as soon as I found out I was “one of those” who shows up the last minute and takes their sweet time, without even knowing it. So had to leave this review to say thank you for the customer service & the yummy cupcakes! Definitely will be my go to sweet spot & I promise to look at the hours next time :)

They might have been having an off day, however came in for birthday treats and found the service and quality has slipped. No enforcement of social distancing, the server had dirty gloves..the picture shows the smudged edge of the container with frosting (same both edges yet our own cupcakes were not smudged, yikes were did that come from?) and the quality, out if six choices five were dry. Not worth the trip, unlikely to try the trip again which is unfortunate as we've always had better quality and service in the past. Especially disappointing as it was my own birthday and this was the treat I choose to end the day. If you live in town or close proximity might be worth it, if it's a drive I'd skip for now.nUpdate 20 July 20nSo the owner responded without responding, she listed what they have done to respond to Covid but did not respond to my three issues..then she closed with an insult that I should write meaningful reviews. Here are the issuesn1. Your staff did not enforce social distancing of customersn2. Your staff did not use clean gloves on my order..the proof is that the cupcakes purchased were still in perfect visual condition however both corners of the container had frosting smudges..if the frosting did not come from our cupcakes, then it's obvious the gloves were dirtyn3. The quality was not as good as experienced in the pastnNot sure how you feel your response is polite or professional..you did not own any part of the misses from our day and close by insulting the reviewer.nThank you for taking the time to make sure I am clear on your leadership, I look forward to continuing positive reviews for businesses that deserve them, as for my visit and my experience, thus MY review, Sugar remains for me a one star. Have a great life, I'm sure others will have better experiences and will sustain your business. Sugars went above and beyond even during covid! My fiancé wanted custom cupcakes for our proposal and sugars even though they weren’t doing custom orders made an exception and gave us the most beautiful delicious cupcakes! I can not thank you enough especially Brenda for making this come true!
