This program is outstanding. The staff is thoughtful, caring and professional. They simultaneously manage to engage, challenge and inspire their students during each session. Furthermore, home rehearsal is fun, focused and student-paced!
My daughter (age 6) has been learning piano with Play Piano Academy for the past year. The instructors are wonderful! They are inspirational in their knowledge of how to teach piano and they have a deep understanding of child development. They are intentionally positive and make learning piano fun. The teachers are easily accessible outside of class when parents have questions about course material. We have enjoyed the informal recitals each quarter which give students an opportunity to showcase their work, and to feel a sense of pride in their accomplishment in a supportive setting. My daughter looks forward to going to her piano class each week and leaves each class feeling great about herself, and about her progress. I highly recommend Play Piano Academy for any family who is considering piano lessons for their child. I am grateful to have this academy in Missoula.
Both of my kids have taken music lessons from Valerie for over five years. The instructors are phenomenal - kind, patient, and talented. We love the group piano lesson model. And they make it fun and easy to learn. Both my kids have excelled at learning piano using the methods at Play. We look forward to continuing at their new studio. We are lucky to have such a novel piano program in Missoula.
My daughter started PLAY Piano group lessons when she was 6 years old and we have loved it. Val, Chris, and their wonderful staff do a great job of allowing the kids to grow at their own pace and their recitals were always fun and supportive. We're excited for another year!
Valerie is a phenomenal teacher and has been a great fit for our daughter. We are lucky to have such great instructors here in Missoula! All of the faculty at PLAY are fantastic!
