I Love this place! It’s like I stepped into dessert heaven. The cakes are moist, delicious and not overly sweet. I’ve ordered red velvet cake, cupcakes, pastries and other items. My selections are always fresh and Hector is amazing! This place is a true gem in Southington.
Absolutely phenomenal, is all I have to say. The staff is highly courteous and the pastry is amazing. They've gone out of their way to fulfill an order for me. I highly recommend them!
Went in on a whim and got the coconut pecan cake and carrot cake and both exceeded my expectations! Absolutely delicious and fresh baked, would recommend Mix again and again to friends and family!
Today was the second time I visited Mix Fine Cakes & Pastries. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the first visit (several months back)was ok. Today I purchased 3 pasteis de nata, 3 sour cream coffee cake cupcakes and 1 individual chocolate filled cheesecake. Spent $31. All the items were bland and under baked. Don't know if they have an unexperienced chef or if their ovens are not working or both, but all items were under baked, especially the pasteis de nata. Plus everything tasted slightly old. Unfortunately they were not edible.
They made me an AMAZING NAPOLEON CAKE for my daughters 2nd birthday! Thank you so much it was amazing!
