We all know it's getting close to Thanksgiving and as much as we love the day of thanks.nThat turkey can be a bit pricey but honey shut my mouth.nI knew I needed to get a few because my mom's dietary needs along with Turkey day.nSo long and short I grabbed the bird for $18.65 plus some whiting fish expecting to pay $ 30.00ish. But baby that ending price was. $15.00 something. I called the lady to the register because I am not going to jail for no turkey.nShe laughing no that's the price. It's some kind community shared price.nShocked. I went and got two more. It rang up $ 40 and I paid $16.00ud83dude00ud83dude00ud83dude00nSo my mom got her birds and I got one for my family.nOh yes they were fresh and not last years birds.nI forgot to mention.ud83dude01ud83dude01ud83dude01ud83dude01ud83dude0eud83dude0e

Well it's not difficult to rate our beloved XL Center five stars it is are coveted sports and entertainment main stay. Well I am old school and some of my fondest memories were witnessed in the Hartford Civic Center, concerts, Celtics home and home games played every season downtown Hartford, and can't forget the best weekend of college basketball ever, the 1982 Big East Tournament, saw every game and followed so many of those players to their NBA careers. Yes the facility may be appropriately named XL Center but those of us remember the Conn Huskies(men and woman)who sparkled in the original venue. Ah, did I just hint at my age? Ha!

They always leave their old produce out way too long. They weigh down all their meat products with tons of water. I bought a 3lb sleeve of ground meat and it reduced down to 1.65lbs after the water boiled off. I refuse to shop there any more. Asian open markets are a much better place to shop.Aldis sells milk for 1.65 a gallon. They also water down their green produce with water.That does not keep it fresh.If they tell you that they are lying.It's a cheap marketing scam to increase the weight and sell you water by the pound.
