It was my first time visiting town, Main Street Creamery & Cafe came highly recommended. Service was bright, cheery, and helpful. The ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. I'll be sure to come back.
What a cute little ice cream parlor in charming Historic Wethersfield! Delicious ice cream, with a plethora of flavors (I recommend the Blueberry Pie, if they have it available). It was fairly priced, in my opinion; $4.50 for my one scoop, plus an additional $1 for the fancy waffle cone instead of the normal cone. Friendly service. I will definitely visit again!
Have had their vegan ice cream before it's very good. This time Hubby didn't like the lemon blueberry but the chocolate was delish. Would recommend. - *Review Update* - The owner of Main Street Creamery goes above and beyond for their customers! I visited here recently and ordered a sundae. While the ice cream is good, they charge for each topping you want. I guess they don't know that a sundae implies toppings. Each topping is $0.50. Not realizing this, I had hot fudge, whipped cream, and a cherry. Even the one measly cherry they put on cost me $0.50. My medium sundae cost me almost $8.00! I will not be going back.
Good system for allowing customers into the store during Covid. Great selection of ice cream.
