I can’t begin to say how awesome the staff is at this location. I ordered a curbside item and when I didn’t get a response I called and talked to Ivan, who was so helpful!!! There was an issue that he worked with me to correct. I got to the store and asked for Ivan but he was busy with another customer so I had the pleasure of working with another gentleman, who I hate to say I can’t remember his name but he was so pleasant and so helpful. Honestly, I can’t say enough about this crew. Not to many places have great customer service these days and they nailed it!

The people that worked at Guitar Center were very attentive and helped me with all of my questions and issues. One man at the front desk even helped me carry my equipment out to my car! It was a great experience;

I'm not sure how managers decide on used gear trade-in pricing, but in one store i was offered 560.00 on my amp... but in Southington I was offered 450.00. I told the manager that the other store offered me more. He came up to $500 which I was willing to accept since I was trying to offer it as a trade for another used amp that was priced at $519. I asked the manager to just do an even trade. He refused and the deal didn't happen over $19. Since I know my amp was worth more at a different store... and I made the manager aware of that...I can't understand why he was so firm on that small amount of money to make or break the deal. As a side note... on reverb.com I know the amp i was trading sold for a minimum... in my same condition.. for 999.00. It was just a bad experience for me because I don't understand the inflexibility over such a small amount.

Probably the best GC in all of CT (and beyond) in terms of helpful staff, guitar repair and used gear selection. There’s a no-pressure feeling at this store which really makes for a nice experience. Also, Steve is a great repair tech, so don’t hesitate to bring your cherished gear, he will take care of you.
