I've had more than one residential delivery by R&L. They always go above and beyond to make sure its as seamless and easy as possible. Would definitely recommend them for any company needing their services and wanting a positive delivery experience for their costumers.
R&L Carriers delivered a barbecue grill to my home. Before the delivery I inform the scheduler not to deliver in a big truck as the roads where I live are narrow. When the driver got near my home he said he felt the road was too narrow and he was going to leave the grill on the side of the road. In the past others drivers would walk the package the last bit (less than 5 minute walk) to my house using a pallet jack. The driver insisted he could not do that and would leave it on the side of the road. He also stated ‘it’s not his job’. I offered to walk it down myself while he waited. He also wouldn’t do this. After arguing back and forth for about 15 minutes he finally walked the package down to my house. It took about 7 minutes round trip. The driver was very difficult and rude. I don’t want to use R&L Carriers ever again.

R&L have been doing a great job delivering my restored antique victrolas all over the United States from my New England workshop and all have arrived in perfect condition, i wont use anyone else.after learning my lesson with Old Dominium Freight destroying a rare 1920 Victrola by ramming a fork lift thru the shipping crate and denying my freight claim.
