Vanilla Bean did a FANTASTIC job of renovating the space formerly home to Benchmark Industries. I love the sense of space. The dark charcoal painted ceiling accentuates the original trusses that must span 50 feet! The huge fireplace and tall glass windowed garage style door add to the ambiance. We we arrived the big door was open.. but as it was heating up they must have closed to to keep the heat out. We tried the quiche (three types to select from) I got the asparagus swiss and Val got the dried tomato with spinach. They heated it up and then brought it to our table. We shared. I think the tomato spinach had more flavor. Both were delicious. I also like the fact they make espresso coffee drinks! The perfect way to enjoy fine pastry. We shared a gluten free apple oatmeal muffin. Nice and moist and also delicious. We will be going back!
Best little cafe and bakery in Helena! From the amazing atmosphere and hip decor to the sweet treats and filling meals, this place has it all! I love how spacious it is. Great place to have meetings or have lunch with the kids or friends! I love this place!
The space is beautiful. The food is good although some of the baked items tend a bit dry. The coffee is pretty bad IMHO. Overall though a wonderful place to sit and work, or enjoy a nice morning snack.

Clean and beautiful decor.nOver all very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes with lots of feminine features.nMust have been early the staff didn't have a lot of helpfulness to offer myself or the other patrons that were new to this bakery.nThey were knowledgeable when asked questions.nDidn't at all care for the Expresso Brownie I ended up purchasing. Took 1 bite and tossed it.
