I (Sylvia) went into the PCS store at 5892 Losee Road #138, North Las Vegas, NV 89081-6200, Tuesday afternoon, 11-5-2019 to replace my Samsung J7 phone that I have had through Metro-PCS since December 13, 2017. When I went in Lily and Angelique were there and Angelique, who stated she was the owner; commented on how this “cheap phone” was still working. I said I know, but the battery doesn’t want to stay charged. I also said I take care of my stuff, rather it my phone or my shoes, laughing while talking. I decided to purchase a brand-new rose gold iPhone 6s and Lily went in the back to get it. She brought the phone out in the box, but with no plastic cellophane on the box. (See their video’s please to prove this.) I asked if it was a refurbished or a returned phone, because there was not plastic covering over the box, but Angelique said it was brand new. I also purchased an Otterbox case and a tempered glass screen protector. Angelique connected the phone, but she was having trouble getting my Apple account set up as the phone was not wanting to stay on during this process. I told her don’t worry, I can do that after fully charging the phone as you could see that it needed to be charged. However, after taking the phone home and charging it…things did not improve. I could never get my Apple account set up, and then by Thursday; less than 48 hours later, after keeping the phone on the charger that came with the phone; it would not turn on at all. I took it back to the 1.) same store, 2.) with the packaging, 3.) receipt and the metro-pcs bag that was given to me with the phone as this is the requirements per their own 7-day return policy. Lily was there with a girl named Abigail. Lily checked the phone in front of me, utilizing my charger to attempt to charge, checking the phone, and then called Angelique (the owner) on the phone to let her know I wanted to exchange the phone for a new one that worked properly. Lily said Angelique was going to call all the Metro-PCS stores in the area so I needed to wait for a bit, and then I may have to go over there to get the exchange as they did not have any more iPhone 6s phones. After about 10-15 minutes, I said I need to get this done ladies, as they were on and off the phone, but did not seem to be having any success in locating another iPhone 6s. I asked right then 1.) can I go to another store, even though it says I must return to the same store and pick a replacement up or 2.) just get a credit on my card, and my old phone reconnected till they have one in. I also asked if they had the iPhone 6 Plus at their store, stating I would pay the extra $100; but they did not have that phone either. At this time, Lily and Abigail were talking quietly at the front and I was sitting down by the entrance door. Abigail then took my phone that was sitting by the cash register and said she was going in the back for a minute. She was gone with me phone for another 10 minutes, then came out and said that I had water damage in the phone, and they were not going to refund my credit card OR exchange it now. I asked her why she did not open the phone in front of me, and she stated, “I will open it for you now, and show you the damage.” I stated, yes after you had the phone in the back for how long to have damaged it yourself to keep from refunding my money since you all don’t have one rose gold iPhone 6s this side of Vegas! Why did Abigail not open the phone right in front of me as the customer to check it together, instead of taking the phone out of my view and checking it by herself? She admits this and seems to think this was way okay that I did not get to view her inspection of my property. Why did the phone never have cellophane on it? Why does this same worker (Abigail) have a complaint on the internet from 6 months ago, intentionally messing up someone’s iPhone? Loved this store because of the two girls that work there during the daytime. Very polite and good at their job. Nice smiles also. Metro is great also. Love their plans.
