Lowe's Home Improvement

My husband and I went to this Lowe's on Craig Road in NLV today. We are remodeling our stairs and we needed to grab some supplies. We found everything we needed however we needed to get the wainscot paneling cut, my husband brought the measurements with him. No one was in the back in the cutting area so my husband asked somebody in the tool section upfront if they could call somebody to the back and they did. But my husband waited for a little bit and no one showed up. So I asked someone else, and eventually Jeremy showed up. I went to go look at the holiday decorations while my husband was dealing with Jeremy. But my husband said Jeremy was acting like my husband was bothering him or interrupting him from doing something else so my husband felt he had kind of an attitude. So Jeremy didn't really have any customer service skills today. My husband asked him to cut the wainscot paneling and Jeremy said he couldn't cut it according to the measurements my husband wanted. The machine they have cuts up or down I guess and Jeremy said that if he tries to cut the wainscot that it'll cut crooked, it won't be a straight line. My husband said "huh", because that makes no sense. And Jeremy said that he can only cut it for it to fit in the car. So my husband wasn't able to get the wainscot cut. I mean, isn't that what the cutting area is for? To cut things according to a certain measurement? Or does Lowe's only cut it to fit in somebody's car? For real, I want to know because I don't know because we have never needed anything cut before, this was our first time. Do they not cut wainscot? I know Home Depot cuts to measurement I guess we should have went there. My husband is a veteran and we have shopped at this store since we moved to Vegas 13 yrs ago. Home Depot is closer to our house too but we still go to Lowe's. Maybe not anymore. We used to have great customer service in previous years. So I don't know whats going on. Very disappointing. 😕 However, I will say that the guy in the tool section who called someone in the back for us was VERY helpful and was great at customer service. He had helped my husband earlier with locating an item. I'm just sorry we didn't get his name.

I just met a young man in the lumber department named Kenneth he looked to be about 20 maybe 25 years old. What an exceptional and polite young man. He was so concerned to make sure that I received the correct concrete and that my bags were not ripped. He offered to carry them to the car for me because he asked who was helping me get them in my car? I am definitely not a weakling and I think he wanted to be helpful and make sure I was okay. I offered to purchase him a beverage and he said he was fine and thank me. I gave him a couple bucks for a tip and he couldn't have been kinder and more appreciative. I hope it's gets back to his superiors. At a time when our world sees everybody snapping and everybody else. It was a pleasure to spend 5 minutes with Kenneth. 💯💯👍💓

Selection was nice and product was available. Unfortunately, there was no one around to assist us with our refrigerator purchase. We pressed the customer service button but nothing happened.ten minutes later after we browsed the appliances a bit, I finally found someone sitting at a desk buried deep in the kitchen displays. She helped us.

Lowe's was a very nice store. When we discovered that they didn't have the item we wanted in the store, they helped us to order the item online. They have military discounts so if you're in the military or have been in the military be sure to request it.
