Amidst all this COVID insanity, my wife and I decided it was time to leave NYC for Portland, OR. A cross-country move is one of the most ambitious feats to date and it was all so seamless with Frank's team. He assigned us Julian who is just the best! Such a nice and charming gentleman. He had been so helpful every step of the way. We rented a 22' Penske truck with a car carrier behind it. You can imagine how daunting that would be for 2 small ladies. Julian helped to attached the car carrier and drove the truck so safely with all our prized belongings in there. He is so skilled and kept us updated on his status each day of his travels. Everything arrived a day early and we even for a refund on some of the insurance because of it.nnWe had done a bunch of research on cross-country moves with cars and every option seemed less than idea with very long transit times and horror stories of people's vehicles getting damaged from being on large multi-car transporters. None of them could guarantee ETAs or even know for sure when they were going to pick up our car. Rented Truck Driver was the best possible solution and cost-wise was about the same in the end. I can't recommend this company enough.nnTHANK YOU FRANK, JULIAN, AND DANA!

Ben drove my 15' U-Haul truck across states. Communication was fantastic; I was constantly kept informed and all costs were transparent. Very friendly, professional, and trustworthy. RTD absolutely nailed it!

I didn't end up using this service, but I very much appreciate the helpful customer service. Very reasonable rate was provided to drive truck 1,250 miles. Ultimately for our current situation we decided to drive the truck ourselves. Great service If you need your things immediately or just need a safe driver. Thanks for your help Frank

I moved from the east coast to the midwest and hired Rented Truck Driver to drive my UHaul (~800 miles) and they were fantastic! I got the pleasure of working with Frank, who was professional, incredibly responsive, and made the experience much less painful than it would've been with any other company.nnHe arrived at the drop off location earlier than the originally designated time, even though he was delayed in leaving the pickup because the movers took longer than expected. I know this meant that he woke up really early to get my stuff to me on time and I'm incredibly grateful, because then the timing with the other movers worked out too and everything just flowed perfectly (I'm still in shock since things always go wrong when moving). Every item arrived in its original condition, and I've been recommending him to other friends looking to move.nnI compared across 10+ companies before moving and now I know why Rented Truck Driver is the only one that didn't have horror stories and ratings.
