Cannoli cake is so amazing and fresh. Del Prete has been around a long time and has never let me down. Great variety of pastries.
Del Prete is hands down the best Italian pastry shop in CT. Unlike competitors, they still have all the traditional Italian treats made daily. I was shocked when I recently stopped by an Italian bakery in Stamford and they had no pignoli or cannoli made daily. This experience further solidifies my loyalty to Del Prete. Del Prete’s cannolis are out of this world along with their pignoli and sfogiatelle. They also have fantastic rum cake and cannoli cake. I would recommend Del Prete to anyone who is looking for delicious Italian pastries and cakes.
THE BEST CANNOLI CAKE EVER! No joke! Lil bit of hidden flaky shell crunch inside and light sweet filling. So delicious! My well rounded/routed italian brother-in-law had for the first time in his 40yrs and it blew his tastebuds away. Never again will he settle for any other CANNOLI cake.
Best Bakery that I know of. Excellent cannolis and rum cake.
