My husband used to visit here as a kid, now he returned at his late 40's. Same good quality products and amazing service.
They don't do house deliveries, the quality of their food has gone down tremendously, and it's expensive. I'm glad to still have the bakery around but I barely go there anymore...
Their sandwiches use to be so good, now they're made sloppily and probably rushed . My meat has been cold on a few occasions (when ordering sausage egg & cheese). I always ask them to cut my sandwich & they never do (small pet peeve) they give you this big sandwich on a roll and don't cut it down the middle. I still go there only cause they're close.
Food is great and worth what you pay for but the service has gone down hill. The young lady who made my sandwich seemed rushed missing almost half of what I asked. I placed a call just to let them know what happened. She refused to acknowledge the accident. I'll accept this but it will be the last time I go there. Stopped by recently, again food is great but why did it take thirty minutes to make a sandwich and heat up a muffin?
I really love the Italian bread but lately most of the bread has such large holes in each slice that you can't make a sandwich. I truly love the texture and taste of the bread but can't stand such large holes.
