Salon Shahin

First of all, the place is so beautiful, modern and clean. I walked in and immediately I was welcomed by a lovely lady ( swwy I am terrible with names sometimes), she made me feels so welcomed, the vibe there was everything. Made my appt for the same day, hours later I got there 5 mins on time, and I was taken in right away. I was prepped up and then I was welcomed, again, by Justyna, she was so lovely. I went in for a cut. The whole experience there was W.O.W. The smell of the products was delightful, their hair dryer is so fancy lol, everyone there just looks so nice and professional. Then I was taken downstairs and I was blown away, this place is really a gem in downtown Stamford. I mean, I have been to other salons in NYC, and let me say that I have never felt more at home by everyone there, even the others that did not work on me. Then as I was about to pay, I got genuine compliments from others including the manager. I asked for the manager bc I felt that when you have a great experience, it needs to be praised. Salon Shahin got a great thing going on, and they deft have my business from now on. This was my first salon experience in Stamford, but I dont need to look any further. So, if you are debating between this place and the next or the one next to it, look no more, this is THE SPOT. Salon Shahin, keep up the great welcome, the rich vibe and the awesome walk in experience.

I've gone to Salon Shahin a couple of times now and have always had a great experience. It's easy to make an appointment and I like that they have a text message reminder.nnThe staff is friendly and the salon is beautiful, clean and very sanitary. I recently brought our one year old for her first haircut there and Cyndie was extremely kind and patient.

Just had my hair cut there a few days ago and I have to say, I was very impressed at how they've gone above and beyond to make everyone feel safe. I couldn't have felt more comfortable, for I hadn't had my hair cut for way too long with the fear of contracting COVID 19. I usually work with CeCe or Antoine whom are wonderful, but one can't help feeling that anyone they hire is simply top notch. Keep up the great work you guys!

Short version: First time client, satisfied and plan to return. Long version: Safety/covid procedures clear, easy to follow and inspired confidence. My stylist was Antoine. Hard to build a rapport when you're wearing a mask, but Antoine did a great job making me feel heard in terms of what I wanted in a cut. I've moved around a couple of cities and each time have had to do a few trials before finding a good fit with a stylist. I think I got lucky here with Antoine, and I plan to return.

Being new to the area and a new stylist/ hair dresser i was welcomed into a very warm environment with a modern and tasteful setting. I was given.thw upstairs space and offered a bottle of water once settled. Cindy was the stylist who was highly professional and personable. The result was better than j expected. Highly recommend.
